A Sharks Evolution
For this project we were put in partners and told to make an evolutionary timeline to show how one of today's species evolved into its present form. I was partnered with Jackson and we decided to do this project on the Great White Shark. For the project we made a Google Slides presentation (down below) to present how the shark got to its current form. At first it was hard trying to find all of the organisms that led up to it, but once we had those down, we could more easily find out where they lived and what their traits were.
Content
Evolution was a major thing in this project since we had to know how that worked in order to do our project. Evolution is mainly how an organism evolved over time and what traits it lost, kept, and gained. This can be seen in Natural Selection which is where organisms with the stronger traits dominate over the others.
Then there is Speciation which is the creation of new species either from Sympatric, or Allopatric Speciation. Sympatric Speciation is the cause of a part of a species developing its own trait and forming a new species, while Allopatric Speciation is where a certain species gets split up physical causing them each to change to there set environment.

Reflection
Overall, I thought that this project wasn't one that I would like to do again. Yes we made a good presentation, but so did almost everyone else. Also, when we were presenting them to the class, it was like watching the same thing over and over again with a very slight change each time. The only group that didn't make a Google Slides made a prezi, so it was hardly any different. Also, there wasn't much background on what exactly we were supposed to do. It felt like each day there was either a new thing being added or taken away and it just wasn't clear what the goal was until the last day.
I did however like being able to choose partners so then we could work better together. It let us just get straight to work and already know how the other persons working style was. I think I learned that the better you know someone, the better you can work with them to succeed. It is also very helpful to review with other groups and give feedback so that you can both improve.
Some things that I need to work on is better understanding what we are actually working towards. I also could have improved upon my researching skills. During the project it felt like I was taking a bit longer then I should have to find certain things about my organism. I will try to be more thorough with my searching and help get the project done.
